Saturday, 15th July 2006, work was FUN!!! It was tiring. Imagine working from 12pm all the way to 1.30am the next morning.
Me and sweets started off with doing buffet lunch for the Deutches Bank Meeting. Easy job. Clear their plates when they are done and keep topping up their drinks. Lunch was done in 45 min to an hour. After that, we started clearing the plates to the stewarding area at the back lane. While doing so, we ate the balance of the food as well. YUMMY!!! In the end, Captain Amy told us to take a 10 min break to eat the food. Hehez...
Thereafter, we had to help set up the room for a wedding dinner that night. Bride and groom was from SIA people. The moment we heard this, we got a tad bit worried coz these people are the top service people. And here they are, expecting service from us. It was WHOA!!!
Me and sweets were both transfered to Captain Nathan. This guy is daym funny. Was singing all day long. All sorts of song. From malay to english to tamil. Hehez... At least there was some entertainment for the tiring and boring job of setting up.
Service time went well for my 4 tables. I was with Sumon, food runner, and another girl, beverage runner, whom I don't know her name. Sumon and me make a great team. The girl was alright too. We communicate and did our parts whilst helping out each other.
At the end of the dinner when it was time to clear up, Din told the both of us to stay back. Well, what can we say, it just means more money for us. Hehez...
Clearing up was super fun. As usual, I took all the wine glasses first. Had tons to drink. I was drinking up the balance wine in the glasses before putting the glasses back into their racks. After a while, I got high. How not to? It was a freaking 13.7% alcohol content per volume. Was smiling to myself most times. Hehez. At least I was still sober to stop and prevent myself from drinkin more. If not, I would have broken a lot of glasses.
Had to calm myself down whenever I went back to the room coz there were still some guest around. The moment all the guests left, I went crazy. Shouting "yomoley" to everyone. It's yoyo's name on fwenster. All of them started shouting the same thing back at me. Hehez. I like them people. So fun.
Went hm with Silan and 2 other girls in a cab. Silan can still go drinking with his friends. It was quite surprising he din have a hangover the next day.
Sunday, nothing much happened. Just setting up. Went home early. At least I got a lot of money from Sat's work.
