Reef Wakefest happened on the 22nd and 23rd July. The competiton was real. Participants were daym good lah and Tino Santori came down from US to support the event.
His butt crack beats Benny's butt crack btw. Like slot machine.Aniwaez, me and sweets were given the task of taking care of the junior HSBC riders. Small, cute lil riders who ride better than all of us.
The first day of the event, I was on the safety boat with Gijo. Daym bored. Nothing much to do. Just go save the poor souls who fell for the max. number of times and who was left floating in the river. We were always so happy when there were people to be saved. Hehez... Daym bad... I noe...
I even fell aclp in the boat at one point in time. And it was a freaking hot day with not much cloud coverage. Got me dark at the end of it all. Sweets took over me in the afternoon for the first day.
The second day, it was Benny and dunnoe hu on the safety boat. I was on the shore playing with all the Junior riders. Building sandcastles all. After some time, I went to the watch area where Yoyo was deployed to and slept. Went and said hi to Chris, who came down that day. Laid on the floor and dozed off. I only woke up when lunch was served. Wheeeee!!! Chris told me I slept for about an hour. It was quite long but aint enough. That Sunday, I got Tino's signature and Matt Monahan's email add. A happy girl I was.
That Matt is such a hottie!!!The competition ended with the medal presentation on Sunday and us clearing up the whole area. Paul was proud of us for making the event happen. And everyone knew about the boat incident involving 2 ppl. Hehez...

The Reef Party was ok at first with the prize presentation and miss reef contest. The rest of the party was a joke. No one was dancing. Except me and the TP dudes. Ouh, and there was this girl whom I danced wif. Nad thought I was drunk coz we grinded each other. But I wasn't. Only had a cup of beer. Nothin more. Quite sad actually. It can't beat the IVP post party where everyone was freaking high from god knows what.
